The Rt. Hon. Lord Parkinson

Non-Executive Chairman, Lord Parkinson is a Member of the House of Lords and was a Member of Parliament from 1970 to 1992, during which time he held a number of senior ministerial positions including Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, Energy and Transport. He was Chairman of the Conservative Party from 1981 to 1983 and again from 1997 to 1998. A qualified chartered accountant, Lord Parkinson was a Partner in Westwake Price (City Chartered Accountants) for 10 years and is currently Chairman and Director of a number of companies including Jarvis Group Limited, Huntswood plc and Le Carbone UK Group of Companies.

Charles Aram

Charles Aram is the Chief Executive of Henderson Rowe and the originator of the business. He started the company in 2002 after a decade of investment and managerial experience. He is an investment manager with extensive experience trading equities, derivatives and other instruments and has considerable knowledge of the ETF universe. All members of the firm are actively encouraged to contribute and participate; Charles has selected, trained and supervised teams of advisers and managers for more than a decade and places emphasis on open and honest dialogue with all, actively encouraging individuals contribution to the firm.

Giles Rowe

Giles Rowe is Henderson Rowe's co-founder and CIO. After four years at Pitman Books he joined Henry Ansbacher's UK M&A team as a publishing and media specialist, subsequently moving to Cazenove & Co where for 15 years he advised many of the UK's industrial companies, working on a variety of transactions and financings. In 2000 he joined Beeson Gregory's technology private equity unit, IndexIT, where he set up a diversification fund for entrepreneurs. In 2002 Giles started up Henderson Rowe with Charles Aram. He read PPP (Psychology and Philosophy) at Oxford and has an MBA from Cranfield. Giles is responsible for Henderson Rowe's asset allocation strategies and security selection.

Patrick Donovan

Patrick Donovan is an Investment Manager with over 30 years experience of Capital Markets, bond trading and Private Banking. Following a Law degree from Oxford, he joined a leading European Bond trading house and over the next 20 years worked as a sales trader in various countries including Hong Kong, Switzerland, France, Belgium and the USA. He subsequently worked with Merrill Lynch Private Bank in London for eight years.

Dominic Wright

Dominic Wright was educated at Charterhouse and graduated from University College London with a 2:1 in 2004. He began his Investment Management career with Henderson Rowe shortly afterwards.

Adam Hayek

After studying Business and French at The University of Brighton, Adam joined a London property firm, where he arranged financing for various high profile transactions for four years. Upon completion of his securities and regulatory qualifications, he traded individual equities and subsequently joined Henderson Rowe in September 2005 where he has gained a wealth of experience in private client investment management. Adam is also fluent in three languages.

William Lawes

Investment Manager William was educated at Marlborough College, and went on to complete a BA and an MA. Following a short stint in a London based asset management firm he moved to Henderson Rowe, attracted by the conservative asset allocation approach and systematic investment methodologies. He has also contributed to the development of cross portfolio management systems.

Benjamin de Rivaz

Ben was educated at Eton College and subsequently obtained a degree in English Literature from the University of Nottingham. He worked at Merrill Lynch in the Prime Brokerage division before joining Henderson Rowe as an Investment Manager in 2008. Ben is a Special Observer in the Honourable Artillery Company.

John Whick

John graduated in Economics and Geography from University College London and then spent time as a research analyst covering politics and economics, both in the commercial and parliamentary world. He built a strong reputation teaching and tutoring economics and business related subjects up to MBA level, working internationally while also completing an MSc. John also worked as a principal trader on the European bond markets.

Finlay Maclennan

Finlay joined Henderson Rowe in November 2008. After gaining an MSc in Investment Analysis from Stirling University in 1994, he started his investment career with Scottish Amicable in Glasgow. He went on to become a Chartered Financial Analyst. Finlay joined Henderson Rowe because he felt that the balance of quantitative and qualitative research within the disciplined investment process makes it more likely to meet clients expectations.

Ben Gregory

Ben graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2002 with a degree in E-Commerce and Digital Business. Having worked for a FTSE 100 company pension scheme he worked at Lovells before concentrating full time on trading. He is an experienced derivatives trader.

Birgit Kasak

Birgit has degrees in Economics & International Business as well as Political Science & Public Administration. Her business career started in the insurance industry with extensive experience in corporate client relationship, and she subsequently advised politicians in the Tallinn City Government. Following as a managing director of a leisure retail group after what she worked for the leading private equity company in the Baltic area. She is one of the key members of the Index Funds Team and also involved in institutional and private wealth clients side at Henderson Rowe.

Toby Thomson

Toby Thomson was educated at St.Paul's school and the University of Birmingham. Toby joined Henderson Rowe in 2009 after a diverse business career including the corporate responsibility and offshore investment sectors. He is an acomplished sportsman having played rugby and boxed at county and semi-professional level.

Artur Baluszynski

Artur joined Henderson Rowe in 2008 as an analyst. His qualifications include an Msc in Psychology, an Msc in International Business from the Grenoble Ecole de Management, a diploma in Financial Modeling as well as the Investment Management Certificate. Artur works closely with Giles Rowe on asset allocation strategy, security selection and tactical portfolio positioning.

Dr. Graham Forster

The lead investment manager of our FTSE RAFI team, Graham has over 15 years of investment management experience, managing a variety of portfolio's on behalf of retail, institutional and hedge fund clients. Graham began his career at Abbey Life (Lloyds TSB) where he was responsible for managing over £1bn of derivative and indexed portfolios including the group pension's global indexed basket and the Lloyds FTSE 100 Retail Index Tracker. After leaving Lloyds, he moved to Deutsche Asset Management where he was part of the Quantitative Techniques team managing £3bn of global indexed and structured portfolios for a variety of DeAM's institutional clients. Before joining Henderson Rowe, Graham was part of the Portfolio Engineering team at Old Mutual Asset Management, being responsible for portfolio construction and risk management of a number of OMAM's hedge fund portfolios.

Katerina Yatsunova

Before joining Henderson Rowe Katerina worked as a Proprietary Trading associate at ING Bank. She was responsible for idea generation, research and analysis of equities and fixed income instruments, with a focus on Merger Arbitrage and Event Driven investments. Prior to that she was an analyst at ING Investment Management's Fund of Hedge Funds business in New York. Katerina holds a BA in International Economics and International Business Administration from The American University of Paris, and has completed Level 1 and 2 of the CFA program.

Simon Moriarty

Simon Moriarty was educated at Clongowes Wood College in Ireland after which he studied at Westminister University in London. Prior to joining Henderson Rowe in January 2011, he was in charge of the Investment and Acquisitions department at Wheler Group, a mixed use property development firm based in London.

James Robson

James Robson was educated at Stowe School and graduated from University of West of England in 2009 studying marketing. Soon after completing his studies, James had gained some experience in other asset managment companies before joining Henderson Rowe.
